There are times when people think that the biggest decision they make is whether they should get married or not, but little do they realise that the decision making process does not end there and much harder decisions are to be made in the future, especially once a child is born.
For most women, among the toughest decisions in life is whether to continue with their career or to be a stay-at-home mother.
Although there is no perfect answer for this question as it depends on a person's choice and their financial status, the decision to be with a child during the most crucial time of their development phase is something worth pondering upon.
There are many women who decide to stay at home and raise their child, while others try to juggle a demanding career and motherhood.
Although baby sitters are a great help, they cannot take the role of a mother. As most of us are working to meet the soaring cost of living, the decision to continue with a career is also something that which has to be carefully decided.
As schooling and other expenses soar, the need to have both parents earning seems like the best option, although working out of the house or part-time maybe a good idea.
