NCC Exhibition Organiser (NEO) is hosting the "Amazing Thailand Grand Sale Fair 2008" featuring up to 70% discounts on a wide range of commodities, comprehensive tourism goods and services at Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre. The fair runs from July 24-27, daily from 10am-8pm.
Held for the 7th consecutive year, the 4-day event is divided into two major zones. The "Grand Sale Zone" is for consumer products such as garments and fashionable clothing from the CMG and Minor groups, sports equipment and shoes, cosmetics, accessories, household utensils, home decor items, food and beverage and bedding materials both from local and international brands.
This zone also presents merchandise from royally-initiated projects such as the Royal Project, Sai Jai Thai Foundation, Phu Fa Shop, Mae Fa Luang Foundation and the Corrections Department.
The "Grand Service Zone" is devoted to tourism activities where a large amount of tour packages will be offered by hotels under the Accor Group, Centara Group, Imperial Group and Dusit Group resorts and tour operators.
This year the fair will have a riverside ambience and visitors will have an opportunity to experience the wonder of ancient floating market communities on 4 main rivers of the central region, namely the Bang Pakong, the Chao Phraya, the Mae Klong and the Tha Chin.
On sale will be selected items and delicacies from the four famous markets - Ban Mai Market, Khlong Suan Market, Taling Chan Floating Market and Ko Kret.
There are also activities for families and children such as a display of ancient folk toys, a demonstration and sale of long-forgotten items.
