DREAMCHASER CONCERT

Sukie Kamolsukosol Clapp and the Triumph Tiger, which he used as his touring bike during his 2-month-long Indochina adventure.

After fulfilling his dream chase - travelling four countries in Indochina on a motorbike - adventurous musician Sukie Kamolsukosol Clapp again concludes his Dreamchaser Season II project with a charity concert.

The "Dreamchaser Live 2008 Bikers & Rockers Save the World" concert will take place at Bitec Convention Centre, Bang Na, on Saturday, August 2, from 6pm until midnight.

Performing on the same stage during the six-hour show will be five of Thailand's popular indie acts who share the same aspiration - to join hands to make the world a better place to live. The bands include Moderndog, Groove Riders, Flure, Tattoo Colour and Apartment Khun Pa.

Doors will open two hours before the concert to give the audience a chance to enjoy many fun activities such as a Big Bike stunt show, live music by DJ Spidamonkey, and an auction of T-shirts painted by 10 pairs of famous stars and artists. There are also booths to present activities for enthusiastic bikers.

The highlight will be the special "Dreamchaser Photo Exhibition", which will feature a dozen impressive images captured by Sukie himself during his gruelling 10,000-km bike ride from Thailand to Laos and Vietnam as well as Cambodia.

The exhibition will offer viewers a glimpse into the lives and cultures of the people he encountered along the journey, which started in late February and finished in early May.

His travel stories have been aired during the television docu-reality show Dreamchaser Season II on Channel 3 every Monday at midnight since June 2. And the August 2 concert will also be put on the last episode of the programme.

Tickets for the concert cost 300 baht and can be purchased from Thaiticketmajor booths (tel 02-262-3456 or visit http://www.thaiticketmajor.com). All proceeds will go to the Rak Thai Foundation for Global Warming, a non-profit organisation founded in 1997 with the aim to build a sustainable society.
