Toll fees on Bangkok's inner and outer expressway systems rise today, an increase allowed under the contract between the concessionaire and the Expressway Authority of Thailand.
On the first-stage expressway, tolls for four-wheelers will increase from 40 baht to 45 baht, for 6-10 wheelers from 60 to 70 baht, and for vehicles with more wheels from 85 to 100 baht.
On Pracha Chuen, Ngam Wong Wan and Chaeng Watthana sections of the second-stage expressway, only the toll for vehicles with more than 10 wheels increases, from 30 to 35 baht.
At the Rama IX, Ramkhamhaeng and Srinakarin sections of the second-stage expressway, the toll for vehicles with 6-10 wheels has been raised from 45 to 50 baht, and for vehicles with more wheels from 60 to 70 baht.
Charges on the east-bound Bang Na-Chon Buri expressway rise to 20 baht for four-wheelers, 45 baht for 6-10 wheelers and 70 baht for larger vehicles for the first 20 kilometres. For longer distances, additional charges apply. The combined tolls for the entire 55km expressway run are 65 baht, 130 baht and 200 baht respectively.
