Seat and it's distributor here in Thailand both have to resurrect the marketing of the brand and, in general, the other brands of the Volkswagen Group which had been neglected by Yontrakit Motors in the past decade.
Yontrakit always have new ambitions to build and distribute different brands of cars around the world. The latest project is to build China's Chery small car in Thailand.
Yontrakit should be expanding further with new projects, but please not at the expense of its current internationally recognised brands in its portfolio. PONGTORN NAKORNSRI

Addressing alternative fuels
We have been flooded with scientific information and advertisement about alternative fuel.
It is known that those alternative fuels have different energy efficiencies. The actual cost to obtain a certain mileage is different for each alternative.
Also, users have been convinced that they need to invest to replace their cars to be compatible to E20 and E85, or to modify engine systems to use LPG/CNG fuel.
However, there is lack of comprehensive comparison of benefits of each respective type of alternative fuel, that is, a list of required volume/weight of each type of fuel to obtain a certain trip mileage.
If this clear-cut comparison is available, consumers can decide whether to stay with their current cars, replace it with compatible type cars or convert it to gas system, according each usage style of their cars.
