CHACHOENGSAO : A Mathayon 3 student driven beyond the limit by a gang of school bullies finally stabbed one his tormentors, a Mathayon 5 student, to death.
Police said a member of the provincial administration organisation, Wanna Rodpitak, turned the 15-year-old over to the authorities yesterday after the boy confessed. The youth's name was withheld for legal reasons.
On Friday, the youth stabbed Wisthawat Daengsaran, 17, in the chest, abdomen and back with a utility knife after being bullied and spat on after school by a group of older students who had previously physically abused him and called him names. The victim died.
The boy said Wisthawat was part of a group of seniors who had ganged up on him. He had begged them to stop.
"They spat in my face and punched me until I fell to the ground. I couldn't take it anymore and stabbed one of them with a utility knife four or five times before fleeing in fear," he said.
Police charged him with premeditated murder and carrying a knife in public. He was sent to a juvenile detention centre.
On Sunday, a Mathayom 6 student stabbed a taxi driver to death when enacting a robbery from an online computer game.
