YOUR LIFE THROUGH THE LENS

Have you got a photo which gives you so much sentimental value that you want to share it with the world? Are there any pictures in your collection that are packed with valuable historical significance that people should know about? If so, here is a chance to have them appear on television through the "Photos for the Future" project.

Launched as part of a global campaign by the History Channel in cooperation with True Visions Plc and the International School Association of Thailand (ISAT), the project is seeking photos that help mark a moment, a period or an event in history - photos that show the changing faces of familiar streets, fashion trends or customs across the generations.

Any photos which tell a story are welcome - whether they were taken 80 years or eight months ago. They could be photos of your family's very first television set or car, your grandparents' escapades or your adventures to strange and faraway places. These moments captured on film may just find their place in the "Photos for the Future" archive.

Submitted photos can be scanned or rephotographed at high resolution with a digital camera. Each should come with a story describing its background and the people in it in less than 400 words.

Upload the photos and stories through http://www.historyasia.com before March 31. The best 20 entries will win a digital photo frame worth 5,000 baht.

For more information, call 02-357-1180/3.
