Here is an opportunity to do some good for society _ and to gain some financial support, too! The Phuttika Network, a coalition of socially concerned Buddhists, is offering fellowships to any individuals or groups who want to start, or have already started, projects that nurture the public ''well-being''.

The Suk Thae Duay Panya (True Happiness with Wisdom) project was started to counteract the consumerism and materialism that prevails in society. The activities proposed should promote a positive attitude that encourage generosity, self-reliance, freedom from materialism and analytical and unprejudiced thinking.

The maximum funding for each selected project is 200,000 baht. The timeframe of proposed activities should be from September 16 to the end of the year, and they can either be one-off events or a series of activities, and the total number of participants must be of at least 35 people.
