EU Cow Herd , visual art at Benjasiri Park, Sukhumvit Road.

Originating in Zurich in 1998, the Cow Parade - 26 of them, each representing an EU member nation - are now on loan to Bangkok, chomping on the grass of Benjasiri Park. The cows, which started off as blank canvases, have been colourfully transformed by artists and designers.

- Soldier , paintings by Thaweesak Srithongdee, at D Gallery, Royal Phuket Marina, Phuket. Until May 17.

Heavily influenced by surrealism and pop art, Thaweesak is now showing his latest series of paintings - 20 soldiers - questioning what causes wars and conflicts, who is involved in them and how absurd and destructive it is to have wars in the first place. Using his signature bright colours, he pokes fun at the stupidity of war and at the same time examines the relationship between war and young men.

- The Colours of India , photos by Sherry Phungprasert and Luke Cassady-Dorion, at the Peninsula Plaza. Until May 20.

Sherry and Cassady-Dorion are hosting their photographic charity exhibition that captures the mood and beauty of India. Fifty pictures are on display, including Sherry's Working Women, which shows three gorgeous Indian women in saris working in the fields, and Cassady-Dorion's Indian Independence Day, a picture of a rickshaw decorated to celebrate Indian Independence Day. All proceeds after expenses will go to the Camillian Social Centre for children living with HIV/Aids and the Seva Foundation.

- The Memory of Trang , solo exhibition by Teerayuth Jeenpracha, at the Amari Watergate Hotel. Until May 31.

Inspired by his small, yet beautiful and charming hometown in Trang, Teerayuth is exhibiting his recent work, including oils and watercolours. The work expresses the humanity with the nature - from the rubber replanting to the limestone mountain, from the province's flower to the Andaman Sea.

- Black is the New Green , prints and photos by Cayla Skillin-Brauchle and J.J. Gregg, at Rotunda and Garden Gallery, Neilson Hays Library, Surawong Road. Until June 1.

Two emerging US artists, printmaker Skillin-Brauchle and photographer Gregg, feature in their first exhibition in Bangkok, creating a dynamic, larger than life portrayal of plants. Skillin-Brauchle illustrates how plants grow in, throughout and over Bangkok, and Gregg's black and white photographs capture the unique characteristics that make plants inspiring.

Up-and-coming artist Narissara questions today's social values about "self", in terms of individuality and identity presented through clothes and accessories - do these covered skins really express their owners' identities? If not, who is underneath them?

- On The Way , photo exhibition by Sittiporn Banjongpetch, at On Art Gallery, Set Siri Road, Samsen Nai. Tomorrow until May 31.

Sittiporn uses his astonishing photos to represent life stories of the Morgans, who live separately on islets dotted along the Andaman coastline. The photographer himself has travelled to live with them - people not granted Thai nationality - as well as learning their ways of life, customs, culture and rituals.
