The Police, a strong contender for the Inter-Club title, defeated Look Pradu 34-7 on their home ground in Bang Khen yesterday.
Two tries by national player Sarayuth Thiangtrong helped lift the Police to a 34-0 lead after 27 minutes.
They led 34-7 at half-time after Look Pradu left-winger Songchai Chantsorn scored the first try for his team which Supachai Koonpatee converted.
Look Pradu staged a fightback in the second half but the Police were too strong and won 42-24.
In another match at the same venue, the Royal Thai Navy overwhelmed Police's Second XV with a 66-7 victory after leading 40-0 at half-time.
Navy's speedy fullback Varongkorn Khamkerd joined the three-quarters and scored four tries. Piyavuth Chunkoh scored the only try for the Police's Second XV.
Two Inter-University matches were played yesterday at Kasetsart University.
Srinakarinwirot rallied to beat Kasetsart 27-21 after trailing 14-13 at half-time and Nakhon Pathom defeated the Air Force 14-5.
