Dalvey launches new condo

KANANA KATHARANGSIPORN

After freezing development of a 32-storey condominium on a plot next door to the house of national artist Chakrabhand Posayakrit, Dalvey Residence has launched the Click Denim condominium project.

Noel Goh, the business development manager of Click Development Co Ltd, a subsidiary of Dalvey Residence, said the company started building Click Denim worth 200 million baht in April, to be completed in April next year.

The eight-storey building will be located on a 300-square-wah plot on Soi Thararom 2 that links Soi Ekamai and Thong Lo. It will have 79 units sized between 22.5 and 62.5 square metres and priced from 70,000 baht per sq m.

He said the pre-sale price offering would end on Sunday. After that, the price would rise by 5%. It expects to close sales by the end of the year.

Dalvey Residence Group earlier developed the 79-unit DLV Thong Lo condominium worth 400-500 million baht, with units ready to be transferred by the end of this year. The group also launched Click Condo 65 in late 2006 with 80% already sold.

The company's 32-storey project was frozen due to concerns that construction would damage the adjoining house owned by Mr Chakrabhand and his valuable paintings and art objects.

Mr Goh said that the economic slowdown had not been confined to Thailand.

''What our company is concerned with at the moment is monitoring costs more prudently to ensure that we always provide customers with good quality products at sustainable pricing.''
