A guide to success

In a series of articles, renowned artist and conductor Bundit Ungrangsee will give explanation of how best to achieve their dreams

Bundit who is not only a national celebrity but also a supremely talented individual has experienced an international level of success in his life and career. He does not merely talk about success, but has actually experienced success in a way that you just don't see every day.

It is true that many Thais have experienced international success. However, a majority of them seem to forget their roots and leave Thailand forever. Not so with Bundit. He has not forgotten his home, and has brought with him in his book, Conduct Your Dreams, a message of hope for people everywhere.

Nothing you can dream is impossible or beyond your reach.

Adults reading this book may wish to ask themselves, "Am I happy with my life? Am I satisfied with what I have been able to achieve?" This book may help you answer those questions positively. It will help you see that you don't need to wait for fate or luck to make your dreams come true. You have the power to make them come true.

Bundit has been asked many times to share his experiences, struggles and success while working in other countries. He has also been asked to give words of advice to the next generation.

These articles are not meant to be a complete guide to success as there are hundreds of books available that profess to teach that. The purpose of these articles is to simply introduce young people to the wide range of ideas and concepts that has influenced Bundit.

"These articles are a collection of lessons, ideas and experiences that have helped me in my career as an international conductor, working primarily in the US, Italy and South Korea," he says.

These are his real-life experiences, and not just theories.

Bundit says that the reason for writing this book is that he wants to know if authors of books on success are self-made men or are writing untested theories.

In a 10-part series, Bundit will share his views and experiences:

1) Dream big, really big
2) As a man thinketh, he is
3) The four-minute mile
4) Do what you love, and the money will follow
5) Do what you can, where you can
6) Super-learning
7) Over prepare
8) Profile global, act local
9) Goal-setting
10) Planning
