PHOTO BREAK
YINGYONG UN-ANONGRAK
Our "Photo Break" today comes from one of our readers who has digitally enhanced the picture to get a really beautiful and striking effect as well as unusual colours.
Larry Ulvi is the photographer, and he describes his technique with an equally unusual flair:
"Pattaya beach photo ... 1/250th second shutter speed, f/8 and ISO 64 plus 1.3EV. I cannot tell you about shutter speed and f-stops because I adjust everything as I take the picture using eyeball imagery and kind of jiggling the camera programme. No alternative developing is needed, as everything is done on-site. This is because the atmospheric conditions change so quickly, and you can take a new picture every 20 seconds. I tell everyone I can paint 200 watercolours a day if the sun is right."
Send your photos in JPEG format to us at: yingyongu@bangkokpost.co.th. Images should be at least 2MB in size. Include your full name, a description of when, where and how you took the picture, and short explanation of why you like it.
