La Fe{aci}te 2008's closing show will see Cie Montalvo-Hervieu take to the stage with La Bossa Fataka de Rameau. Live and recorded dancers jam to Jean-Philippe Rameau's ballet music and hip hop rhythms _ breakdancing, ballet, acrobatics, you name it.
The title of the work refers to the irreverent spirit of La Bossa Fataka, a phonetic poem by Hugo Ball, and the 18th century composer. Dancers fly between dream and reality. Giant creatures and humans walk on clouds. Choreographer Dominique Hervieu describes the production as a ''continuing fresco of multimedia and multi-cultural paintings that fuse together a pot pourri of dance styles, baroque music and witty videos.''
'La Bossa Fataka de Rameau' will be staged tomorrow and Friday at Main Hall, Thailand Cultural Centre, at 8pm. Tickets, at 2,000, 1,600, 1,200, 800 and 500 baht, can be purchased through Thai Ticket Major by calling 02-262-3456 or visiting www.thaiticketmajor.com/.
