MMC Copper Tube (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (MCTT) was established on 5 November 1996 as a subsidiary of the renowned Mitsubishi Materials Corporation, which is a member of Japan’s conglomerate Mitsubishi Group. The company aims to be a leading global copper tube manufacturer, producing superior inner grooved and plain tubes for the refrigerator and air-conditioning industries worldwide.

Helping to make this mission a reality is the invaluable transfer of technology and know-how from Mitsubishi Materials Corporation to the MCTT facility, located at Rojana Industrial Park, Rayong Province.

MCTT’s modern plant houses the most unique, state-of-the-art copper production technology, and duplicates the same high standards of quality embraced by its parent company. This solid foundation enables MCTT to boast an impressive production capacity of 24,000 tonnes per year.

Supported by its efficient manufacturing process, which is both ISO 9002 and 14001 certified, MCTT today is more than just a copper tube producer. In fact, MCTT is now a specialist, creating value-added products and providing a wide range of copper tube solutions.

Bright future

Since its establishment, MCTT has constantly developed its operational standards to better serve its valuable customers around the globe. This has enabled the MCTT name to acquire a reputation for being a producer of world-class, reasonably-priced quality products, with on-time delivery services.

Added to this accomplishment are the company’s ISO 9002 and 14001 certifications, which help form a solid platform for its future growth.

To respond to the increased demand for copper tubes, MCTT expects to expand its production capacity to 36,000 tonnes per year in the future.

MCTT also vows to continuously transfer its technology to Thailand, while pledging to uphold its production excellence well into the future.
