Mr. Julian J. Fryett - Managing Director

In 1955, the company produced its first office automation system, the Ricopy 101 copier machine. A decade later, the company expanded and introduced various office appliances to a fast-growing market, and was renamed RICOH (THAILAND) LIMITED.

Today, Ricoh has 122 branches in Japan alone, and 205 other branches in strategic locations worldwide. It is considered one of the world’s pioneers in Office Automation (OA) systems, which combine both computer and communication devices. Its leadership position in the market is supported by excellent business infrastructure in many countries, with a fast-growing marketing network that spans the globe.

Latest products in focus

Yesterday’s technology quickly becomes a thing of the past, at least, as far as Ricoh is concerned. The Aficio AP3800C is quickly gaining popularity owing to its special features and functions, which include the capability of printing in four colours with a speed of up to 28 sheets per minute. The product can also have such added features as a special scanner, making the Aficio AP3800C multi-functional. This model uses a single pass system, which is a four-drum tandem method, as well as electro-photographic printing and dual toner development.

The Aficio 1035/1045 photocopying is Ricoh’s latest Digital MFP model, with a speed of 35 and 45 sheets per minute. Its special functions include photocopying, faxing, scanning printing, and document recording in the hard disk.

Ricoh’s products and services are universal. Recognising the expansive networks with which businesses work today, Ricoh has designed its products in such a way that they can be easily accessible and used almost anytime, anywhere.

Product lines

Copiers, facsimile machines, data processing systems, and related supplies, such as electronic devices and photographic equipment.

Future vision: innovation

Ricoh is equipped with advanced research and development centres around the world, which work closely with manufacturing, sales and service operations to identify trends and develop product innovations. The company’s technological innovations in manufacturing open up new avenues and directions for the future of the office automation industry.

The days ahead will have Ricoh (Thailand) Limited constantly advancing, along with other Ricoh branches around the world, to help create the working offices of the future.
