Local and international markets
As much as 65% of the company’s products are sold locally, while 35% (clinker) is exported to Vietnam, Bangladesh, Taiwan and West Africa.

Outstanding achievements
Reflecting the company’s strong quality focus is its achievement of ISO 9002 from BVQI in 1998, and ISO 9002 from MASCI more recently in the year 2000.

A testament to excellence
The management of Asia Cement Public Company Limited has decided to implement the ISO 9002 Quality Management System in its operations, with the intention of guaranteeing excellence in products and services. In implementing the company’s quality management programme, within a year, Asia Cement became the country’s first cement manufacturer to be awarded ISO 9002.

The ISO achievement is viewed by the company as a springboard towards attaining even greater success in the years to come. Asia Cement vows to maintain the consistently high-quality standards of its products and services, increasing working efficiency and developing new technologies for the benefit of its many customers.

A NEW MOVE
On 12 February 2003, Asia Cement Public Company Limited signed a Service Agreement with Jalaprathan Cement Public Company Limited to provide operational services to Jalaprathan and its subsidiaries. The scope of the services provided to Jalaprathan Cement and its subsidiaries cover accounting and finance, marketing and sales, purchasing, personnel, external communication, technical, etc.
