Neurosurgical Gamma Center
Opened in 1996, the Bangkok Neurosurgical Gamma Center was the first in Thailand to introduce an improved and safer alternative to conventional surgical treatment of brain disorders, including maligned tumors. The superior technology of this surgery, called Gamma Knife, eliminates the need for the administration of anesthetics, the shaving of the head and the incision of the scalp — taking away such traditional causes of concern as blood loss, infection or pain.
