One of the most important automobile parts, the shock absorber allows for a more comfortable ride and protects loads by decreasing vehicle vibrations. It also prolongs the life of the vehicle, while improving road contact.

“KYB” — trademark of quality
Since 1996, Siam Kayaba has been producing high-quality shock absorbers for automobile companies all over the world, under the “KYB” trademark. Siam Kayaba’s products are well known in the industry for their quality and hardiness.

With a registered capital of 200 million bath, Siam Kayaba Co., Ltd. was founded as a joint venture between Siam Auto Parts Co., Ltd. and Kayaba Industry Co., Ltd., Japan. Since its operations began at its plant in Bang Poo, Siam Kayaba Co., Ltd. has enjoyed great success producing shock absorbers for cars and motorcycles for domestic and international markets including the U.S.A., Russia, China, Vietnam and the U.A.E. The company’s high-quality standards are reflected in the receipt of its two prestigious awards – ISO 9002/QS 9000 and ISO 14001 from AJA EQS and BSI for the Bang Poo plant and ISO 9002/QS 9000 from AJA EQS and BSI for the Bang Pakong plant.

The company now employs over 700 highly-skilled staff to manufacture a wide range of shock absorbers that mitigate or fully absorb shocks and vibrations, while ensuring safe operating conditions and a smooth ride for vehicles. The company’s products include: Conventional shock absorbers, Gas shock absorbers, Strut and gas strut-type shock absorbers, Front forks and Rear Cushion Units (RCU)

In 2003, the company opened a new state-of-the-art plant in Amata Nakorn Industrial Park II, which has a production capacity of 5,000,000 pieces a year.

The company uses the most advanced machinery available, including cutting-edge technology from Kayaba Industry Co., Ltd. in Japan. All stages of the manufacturing process are monitored, from the arrival of raw materials and assembly processes to the finished products. This ensures that the high levels of quality that Siam Kayaba’s customers have come to rely on are consistent.
