Narai Intertrade Co., Ltd. has been exporting high-quality Thai textile products under its trade name NaRaYa for several years. The company is Thailand’s most successful and well-known company in the textile product sector and has enjoyed increasing international recognition over the years.

The availability of a great variety of beautiful fabrics, an abundance of local raw materials as well as a highly skilled Thai workforce inspired the opening of Narai Intertrade Co., Ltd. With a registered capital of one million baht, the company was initially established on 6 October 1989 by Khun Wasna and Mr. Vassilios R. Lathouras.

From humble beginnings to a globally established company, Narai Intertrade Co., Ltd. manufactures unique products for special occasions, incorporating the beauty of Thai textiles with new and innovative designs. These textile products are produced for export and registered in Thailand to such international markets in Europe, the U.S.A., Australia, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Taiwan, India, South Africa and Indonesia. Currently, Narai Intertrade Co., Ltd. has 60 outlets in 14 countries in Asia, Europe and North America.

Over a decade of achievement
Since its inception, Narai Intertrade Co., Ltd. has grown from strength to strength and has been successful in building a strong reputation in the international market. Its many achievements are reflected in the large number of accolades and awards it has earned over the years.

Amongst its many awards is the Prime Minister’s Export Award 2000, in the category of “Distinctive Development & Marketing of Thai-owned Brand Exports”. Narai Intertrade Co., Ltd. also won the Prime Minister’s Export Award 2002 in the field of design. Both awards were presented by the Ministry of Commerce. In 2003, the company successfully attained the Prime Minister’s Industry Award, in the category of Small and Medium Enterprise Industrial Management, given by the Ministry of Industry.

Broadening its horizon
Narai Intertrade Co., Ltd. looks forward to a bright future. To date, the company has attracted significant business on the international market, a trend it expects to grow long into the future.

As part of its future goal, Narai Intertrade Co., Ltd. plans to expand its market by establishing new outlets in both Thailand and overseas. One NaRaYa outlet recently opened at Major Cineplex, Ratchayothin branch, and the other one at Amarin Plaza will be opened in 10 August. In addition, the newest overseas branch was recently opened in Seoul, South Korea, and soon one more outlet will be opened in Taiwan and three outlets in India.

In due time, Narai Intertrade Co., Ltd. expects to establish its first factory at Chaeng Wattana Road in Nonthaburi. The factory will be designed to optimise capacity and increase productivity, expecting to double the company’s production capacity, to between 60,000 and 70,000 per day by 2006.
