Thai Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. was established in 1988 as a joint venture between Saha Pathana Inter-Holding Co., Ltd. and Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. to manufacture home electronic appliances and other hi-tech products.

Supported by Samsung Electronics (Korea), the company has built a state-of-the-art production facility in Sri Racha Industrial Park. The company’s operations in Thailand form an integral part of Samsung’s global strategic vision. Identified by Samsung as a key developing market, Thailand has been chosen as the company’s major manufacturing hub for global exports of washing machines, air-conditioners, refrigerators, colour TVs and colour monitors.

Samsung brand has become famous and widely used among Thai consumers, as well as in high demand in the U.S. and European markets, where Samsung products have built a reputation for innovation, quality and ease of use. Business Week’s annual InterBrand survey has ranked Samsung as the world’s 34th most valuable brand.

Samsung’s mission
Samsung’s mission is to be a Digital-e company, where innovative digital products and the use of online processes make it a leader convergence revolution. Samsung has been restructuring its business portfolio in order to achieve this goal.

Four strategic
business areas

Thai Samsung Electronics focuses on four strategic business areas, including Home, Mobile, Office and Core Components.
