Growing Successfully
In 1957, the first Isuzu truck was imported by Mitsubishi Thailand to be sold domestically. Since then, Isuzu has gone on to become one of the country’s favourite automobile brands, with many hundreds of capable dealers.

The Driver’s Friend
From its humble beginnings here in Thailand, Isuzu has quickly grown to become one of the country’s premier automobile manufacturers, producing some of the nation’s best-loved pick-ups and trucks. The company specialises in the manufacture of commercial vehicles, the driving forces of any modern economy. Isuzu’s trucks, vans and pick-ups can be seen performing a wide range of tasks all over Thailand. From dropping off staff at work, to delivering fresh farm produce, Isuzu vehicles are both versatile and efficient.

Innovative Motoring
Isuzu has been responsible for some of the greatest innovations in vehicle production over the past 40 years. It was the first company to introduce large and medium-sized diesel-powered trucks, which eventually replaced the patrol-powered models. Isuzu was the first company to introduce four-wheel drive pick-ups and direct-injection engines. And it was also the company that introduced Thais to the now popular “Spacecab” pick-ups, with the extended cabs.

First in Thailand
In 2002, Isuzu launched the D-MAX pick-up in Thailand, with phenomenal success. Over 10,000 orders were placed over the first 10 days and within a year, 100,000 vehicles had been sold. Thai consumers know that Isuzu’s trucks and pick-ups represent value for money and high-quality engineering. Isuzu vehicles are economical to run and are backed by an extensive network of dealers, which provide repair services and spare parts.

Award-Winning Manufacture
Isuzu has won many awards over the past four decades, including the Press award for “pick-up of the year”, and for 20 consecutive years, has been the winner of the “Thai Commercial Vehicle Championship.”

Globally-Renowned Quality
To ensure that its pick-ups and trucks attain international standards of quality, Isuzu has implemented both the ISO 9001:2000 and the ISO 14001 quality management systems.

A Trusted Member of
Thai Society

Isuzu has achieved great success here in Thailand and feels that as a responsible member of society, it should contribute to local communities. The company established the “Isuzu Group Foundation” to help people at all levels of society. The group provides various scholarships and donates money to build new educational facilities.

Isuzu also sponsors the “Isuzu Cup, Thai Boxing Tournament”, which helps to preserve the ancient traditions of Thailand’s national sport.
