Growth and development
In 1994, Strongpack took a step forward when it teamed
up with VAW Flexible Packaging.
As one of the world leaders in the industry, VAW Flexible
Packaging was able to blend Strongpack’s expertise with
the latest technology and the support of 14 flexible packaging
plants in eight countries. This partnership allowed Strongpack
to become the first choice of companies in the region
and enabled it to become a pioneer in packaging technologies.
Over the years, Strongpack has strengthened its market
position considerably. In 1996, the company purchased
a new plant to increase its capacity. It also built an
advanced cleanroom and initiated ISO 9001.
For a company like Strongpack, always focused on the
future, new horizons always beckon and the company has
made great plans to improve its services and reach out
to additional customers. To achieve this, Strongpack joined
forces, in 2003, with one of the global leaders in packaging:
the renowned Swiss company, Alcan.
To take advantage of its new partner’s reputation, Strongpack
changed its name to Alcan Packaging Strongpack. The newly
named company continues to offer its full range of quality
