Asia's
Boutique Airline
Since
it was established 36 years ago, Bangkok Airways has become
one of Asia’s favourite airlines, and has impressed millions
of travellers from all over the world.
The company is renowned for its unique services, safety
record and hospitable staff.
Over the years, Bangkok Airways has become the world’s
gateway to Asia and every day flies passengers in
comfort and style to some of the region’s most charming
and exotic locales.
A three-in-one strategy for success
Bangkok Airways aims to provide a fully-integrated
service, putting its customers at the heart of its
operation, while serving the needs of the nation
as a whole. It does this by concentrating on three
main areas, namely: the safe and efficient running
of the airline,
the building and maintenance of attractive and conveniently
situated airports, and by choosing unique tourist
destinations that will attract visitors wishing to
sample the region’s
unique cultures.
Travel in safety, travel in style
Travellers on all Bangkok Airways’ flights can sit
back and enjoy the in-flight services with complete
peace of mind, knowing that they will arrive at
their destination safely and on time.
The airline currently has a fleet of 13 aircraft
and only uses planes with a reputation for safety
and reliability, such as the Boeing
717-200 and the French ATR72-500. Bangkok Airways’
planes are in service for less than five years before
they are replaced, making the company’s fleet one
of the youngest in the sky.
While on board any Bangkok Airways flight, passengers
will come to understand why Thailand is so well-known
for its warm hospitality and friendly people. The
company’s gracious and welcoming staff do everything
possible to ensure that everyone enjoys their flight.
This, combined with fantastic cuisine from all over
the world, makes passengers feel their holiday has
already started before they even touch down.
Right on time
Over the years, Bangkok Airways has become well-known
for its “on the dot” punctuality, and its track
record of maintenance dispatch reliability stands
at 99.38 per cent. That makes the airline one of
the most reliable ATR operators anywhere in the
world.
Bringing Asia to the world
Over the past few decades, tourism in the region,
and Thailand in particular, has grown rapidly. As
a result, air transportation has become increasingly
important to the development of the country and
its economy. Bangkok Airways has helped Thailand
to become the gateway to Asia by improving transportation
links and opening three of its own airports in Samui,
Sukhothai and Trat.
