TRIA aims to safeguard people from illness

ANJIRA ASSAVANONDA

More people today suffer from lifestyle diseases. We tend to live a reckless life without caring enough for our health. We eat junkfood, breathe polluted air, use a lot of plastic and do not rest often. Often, work pressures, busy schedules and bad habits also wear us down.

If left unaddressed, these unhealthy lifestyles can disturb our health balances, leaving us vulnerable to more serious health risks as time passes.

In response to the problems, TRIA, an integrative wellness centre, was established a year ago with its proactive approach to safeguard people from illness and provide them with quality health. It is said to be one of the largest and most advanced wellness centres in Southeast Asia.

Nalin Vanasin, TRIA president, said the centre aims to help its clients to manage their overall well-being through modern medical technologies, complementary and alternative medicine as well as lifestyle adjustments.

She said the centre brings together more than 30 healthcare personnels to cover all aspects of wellness and health.

These experts normally work together for the health programmes that are tailor-made to suit an individual client's need, as people are different in their lifestyles and physical elements. Most clients come with the lifestyle diseases such as headache, backache, stress, indigestion that disturb their daily functions.

The centre's services range from acupuncture, hydrotherapy, bodywork, beauty, and health cuisine to early detection and functional medical diagnostics and other integrative medicine services.

Apart from the healthcare programmes, the centre also aims to provide its clients with life-long education to help them maintain their own lifestyle of wellness.

"During our programmes, we always educate our clients about the importance of self-healthcare. After finishing the programmes, we also hope our clients would learn to change their lifestyles for the better," said Nalin.
