Access to Suvarnabhumi Airport

The new Suvarnabhumi Airport covers an approximate area of 8,000 acres (about 20,000 rai). Located at Km. 15 off the east-bound Bang Na-Trat Highway in Bang Phli District, Samut Prakan Province, the airport is about 25 km. from downtown Bangkok.
It is easily accessible via these five routes:
(1) To the north is an elevated, 8-lane road from Bangkok-Chon Buri New Highway to the passenger terminal.
(2) To the northwest is a 6-lane road leading to the elevated
Rom Klao Road and King Kaeo Flyover.
(3) To the south is a 4-lane road linking the airport to
Bang Na-Trat Highway and Burapavithi Expressway.
(4) To the northeast is a 4-lane road which connects to
On Nut Road.
(5) To the west is a 4-lane road linking to King Kaeo Road.

In addition, a city rail link between Phaya Thai- Makkasan-Suvarnabhumi Airport will be provided by the State Railway of Thailand.
