China sends ships to islands purchased by Japan

The disputed islands known as Senkaku in Japan and Diaoyu in China in the East China Sea. China has sent two patrol ships to the group of islands at the centre of a territorial row with Japan, Xinhua reported Tuesday, after Tokyo said it would nationalise them.
