Digitised faces of people will be exhibited in "Face to Face: Portraiture in a Digital Age" at Chulalongkorn University's Art Centre from September 10 to October 17. The exhibition explores new expressions of portraiture in a digital age and features works by 14 Australian artists who use a range of media including digital photography, video and interactive installation to provide a unique perspective on how digital technologies can reshape our understanding and experience of contemporary identity. Curated by Kathy Cleland of Sydney University, the featured artists are Michele Barker, Anna Munster, Denis Beaubois, Daniel Crooks, Anna Davis, Jason Gee, Emil Goh, Angelica Mesiti, Adam Nash, Mami Yamanaka, David Rosetzky, Rachel Scott, and Stelarc and John Tonkin. The centre is located on the seventh floor of Academic Resources and opens from Monday to Friday between 9am and 7pm, and Saturday between 9am and 4pm. Call 02-218-2965.
