Singapore has a ship floating in the sky and now a giant white lotus blooming in the new Marina Bay financial district. The Merlion from the other side of the bay has a great view of both architectural wonders, and perhaps it's not happy to see a rival landmark.
Van Gogh Alive-The Exhibition allows visitors to immerse in a brilliant world of colour, movement and light as if they were getting into the mind of the artistic genius.
The lotus-inspired building, which to some people may look like a bunch of bananas, houses the ArtScience Museum, which completes the line-up of attractions at Marina Bay Sands. Designed by renowned architect Moshe Safdie, the colossal complex also boasts a luxurious hotel, convention and exhibition facilities and shopping and entertainment centre as well as a casino.
