Innovation set to take flight

Last week, Acharapan Paiboonsuvan, that supremely versatile actress, began to fly. And she didn't have to leave her newly opened yoga studio to do so.

Located in the L5 Building, part of the second phase of the Crystal Design Centre on Praditmanutham Road, the two-room Yoga & Me studio takes a "fly" approach to the discipline, using hammocks as a tool to teach a new style of yoga. Beginners and overweight people apparently feel a lot more comfortable with this novel aid.

Most practitioners tend to overwork their bodies or imitate the movements of others, said Acharapan, who teaches classes herself, "but one needs to respect one's own body".
