Creativity on display

The SCG Foundation is showcasing a collection of 36 art pieces, which have made it to the final round of the Young Thai Artist Award 2011, Thailand's largest competition for budding creative people.
Selected from more than 500 entries by national artists and art experts, the creations come in six categories _ two-dimensional art, 3D art, photography, film, literature and musical composition.
The collection goes on display today in exhibition rooms 5 to 8 at the National Gallery on Chao Fa Road and will be on view there until February 26. The gallery is open Wednesday to Sunday from 9am to 4pm.
