g23 Gallery presents an exhibition of paintings by Somyot Hananuntasuk, a Thai artist who was granted a German scholarship. Since completing his study, he has lived and worked in Munich for almost 40 years. His experiences abroad can widen the attitude and perspective of the Thai audience which also relates to the gallery's mission to increase art knowledge and experiences of local and international visitors.
Somyot Hananuntasuk is an internationally known Thai artist with consistent creativity in visual art. Somyot's paintings are abstract works that show personal aesthetic essence processed through the cautious consumption of materialism. Form and surface appearing in his works are created according to the consumption of information in a particular time.
