Acrylic escapism

Akko Art Gallery presents "Let's Go Far, Far Away", an exhibition of acrylic paintings by Kyoko Abe, a familiar face to many Thais who love the ceramics and patch-work tapestry she has exhibited in Thailand during the past five years.

The Japanese artist has been longing for some time to go very far away by boat with her family and friends. She wants to dive under the water and dance with all sorts of creatures and this is shown in some of the works in this exhibition. She uses only very tiny brushes and is very conscientious.

Kyoko's positive life attitude is reflected in her works and gives the audience a happy positive wish to be joyful whatever their situation is now.
