La Fete, the French-Thai cultural festival. will conclude with "Portraits de Mode: The Revolutionary Fashion Through The Lens", a photo exhibition that will take viewers to the world of haute couture through the eyes of Jean-Marie Perier, one of the most famous and unique photographers on the French fashion scene.

On display are 71 photos, which capture 27 great fashion designers in various postures. They include Yves Saint-Laurent, Karl Lagerfeld, Christian Lacroix, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Sonia Rykiel, Thierry Mugler, Chantal Thomas, Yoji Yamamoto, Kenzo, Issey Miyake, John Galliano, Vivienne Westwood, Giorgio Armani, Domenico Dolce, Stefano Gabbana and Gianni Versace.

Some of the world's top supermodels such as Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell are also featured in the photos.

At 16, his meeting with Daniel Filipacchi, the future founder of an international press group, jump-started his career as the photographer of the French Nouvelle Vague generation of musicians, but also that of of the Rolling Stones, James Brown, Chuck Berry and The Beatles. Last year, Perier showcased 10 of his works in an exhibition in Bangkok entitled "Fashion 3". This year, La Fete devotes an entire outdoor exhibition to him so Thai people can have a wide-angled appreciation of his works.
