Bangkok's Amari Watergate Hotel is hosting an exhibition of paintings entitled "In Honour of His Majesty the King" to display the work of members of an art conservation group and the Chulalongkorn University Preparatory School Alumni Association. The show will also raise money for a charity under the patronage of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

The artists include Vichada Akanidad, Tanya Sirivatin, Napaporn Sornjitti, MR Bhanpen Snidvongs, Pornthip Amatayakul, Chaveephan Huntrakoon and Usa Leangtaveeboon. They all studied watercolour and acrylic techniques with Ajarn Vachira Korntong at the Bunditpatanasilpa Institute.

Part of the proceeds from the sale of paintings will go to the Foundation for Development of Children in Remote Areas. The exhibition opens today on the 3rd floor of the hotel and can be viewed daily from 9am-9pm until Aug 31. The hotel is located at 847 Phetchaburi Road.
