FILMING CULTURES

A workshop on ethnographic film-making called "Visual Anthropology" will be held from April 2 to 12 at the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Anthropology Centre.

Guidance on filming and film editing will be given by Dr Peter Crawford from the University of Tromso, Norway and Dr Gary Kildea from Australian National University and the University of Berlin.

Suitable candidates for the workshop include current students of anthropology and people working in the field of cultural heritage such as curators and film-makers. Experience in production techniques is not required, but a grasp of basic English is necessary.
