Free film screenings return

"Movie Talk", a weekly film screening programme hosted by Songyote Waeohongsa, resumes today at 5pm, in the Rewat Buddhinan activity room at Thammasat University's Pridi Banomyong Library, Tha Prachan campus.

Showing today is Tatie Danielle (Auntie Danielle) (1990, 111 min, France). Directed by Etienne Chatiliez, the film tells of a nasty old woman who meets her match.

Showing Jan 26 is Starting Out in the Evening (2007, 111 min, USA). An Andrew Wagner work, the film which stars Frank Langella, Lauren Ambrose and Patti Perkins is about an ambitious graduate student who convinces a writer that her thesis can resurrect his career.
