A musical, ballet and theatre all in one
A Christmas Carol' set to top International Dance Festival 2010
Is there any story that sums up the Yuletide spirit of generosity and joy better than the Charles Dickens classic? Is there any character more synonymous with miserliness than Ebenezer Scrooge?
Michael Berkin as Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come and Darren Goldsmith as Scrooge in ‘A Christmas Carol’.
A Christmas Carol by England's Northern Ballet Theatre is a three-act ballet that mixes music, dance and ghostly effects into a haunting production that is faithful to both Dickens and Scrooge. It will be one of the main events of Bangkok's 12th International Festival of Music and Dance at the Thailand Cultural Centre, set to begin next month. Performances are slated for September 25 with a matinee on the following day at 2.30pm.
