Music is a fine healer

Mahidol University's College of Music in Salaya, Nakhon Pathom, today hosts a charity concert, "Heart is Bigger than Flood", dedicated to victims of the recent flooding.

The venue is the college's auditorium and the concert, lasting two hours, kicks off at 7pm. Admission is free of charge, though, donations will be greatly appreciated. It will be used to assist communities in the Salaya area still smarting from the floods.

The concert features a jazz choir, a saxophone ensemble, an electronic music duo, a ponglang band, classical guitar, rock orchestra "Ghost Opera", and opera singing. The evening's highlight is the much-anticipated debut of the song Heart is Bigger Than Flood, penned by national artist Naowarat Pongpaiboon and composed by dean of the host college Sukree Chareonsuk with conductor Prateep Supannarote helping with the arrangement.
