Symphonic celebrations concert

The Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO) will start 2012 off with its 7th season concert, featuring guest conductor Christopher Hughes and soloist Qing Lin on oboe, at the Music Auditorium of College of Music, Mahidol University, on Jan 6 at 7pm and Jan 7 at 4pm.
Conductor Christopher Hughes and oboist Qing Lin will perform with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra at Mahidol University’s College of Music on Jan 6 at 7pm and Jan 7 at 4pm.
The TPO will whisk the audience to Austria for a celebration of the New Year as Christopher conducts Viennese New Year favourites by Johann Strauss, including Die Fledermaus Overture, Emperor Waltz, Eljen a Magyar (Polka, opus 332) and The Blue Danube Waltz.
