Laneway Festival proves once again music is the food of life

St Jerome's Laneway Festival returned to Singapore for its second installation, and turned out to be another big success in terms of attendance, organisation and line-up.

In keeping with its philosophy to introduce fresh new sounds to the world, Laneway has always been on the progressive forefront. This year, lucky Singapore saw the likes of M83, The Horrors, Twin Shadow and Toro Y Moi among others.

Compared to last year when it rained non-stop, earning the festival the nickname Rainway, this time around it only rained for five minutes, and the rest of the festival went without a disruption from Mother Nature. Also, to improve on lengthy band change, Laneway decided to install two stages in Fort Canning Park so that the sequence would go on more smoothly.
