After their 2011 nautical-themed debut, the husband-wife indie duo Tennis finally come ashore with a gimmick-free follow-up

TENNIS/ YOUNG AND OLD

In 2009, newlyweds Alaina Moore and Patrick Riley decided to set sail along the US East Coast. The couple emerged eight months later collectively calling themselves Tennis and went on to release a concept debut album named after their ship, Cape Dory. It's a pretty cute story, not to mention a brilliant one to base a record on. Tennis made a pretty good impression on the indie music scene, thanks to cutesy, lo-fi, sun-soaked jams such as Marathon and Baltimore.
