MBLAQ will perform live at the Bangkok Convention Centre, CentralPlaza Lardprao, on Saturday starting at 7pm.

MBLAQ, which stands for Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality, was created by South Korean superstar Rain, who is also the band's producer.

The vocal quintet has been well-recognised by K-pop fans since it opened for Rain's Legend of Rainism concert in 2009. That year the band released its debut single-album Just Blaq, which topped music charts in South Korea.

MBLAQ then released its first extended-play album Y in 2010, and first studio album, Blaq Style, in 2011. The group comprises Yang Seung Ho (band leader and vocals), G.O. (vocals), Lee Joon (vocals), Mir (rapper) and Thunder (rapper).

The band recently won the Popular Singer award from one of the biggest events in South Korea _ the 2012 Asia Model Awards.

Tickets for the concert start at 1,500 baht from Thai Ticket Major (call 02-262-3456 or thaiticketmajor.com).
