    09/04/2012 : To celebrate its 13th anniversary, local avant-garde contemporary theatre troupe B-Floor will stage a short run of Lear & His 3 Daughters in the courtyard of the Pridi Banomyong Institute located on Sukhumvit Soi 55. There will be performances daily, starting at 7:30pm, from April 26 to May 7 (except on May 1 and May 2). Inspired by Shakespeare's King Lear, this dance-drama piece retells the story of King Lear by exploring the love- and hatred-fuelled relationships within his family.

    05/04/2012 : Sunon Wachirawarakarn and Thanapol Virulhakul aren't new to Bangkok's small and scattered dance scene. Sunon is a disciple of Janaprakal Chaundruang and Pichet Klunchun, while Thanapol has danced for Patravadi Theatre and co-choreographed a few dance pieces in Bangkok. With their new creations staged in mid- and late-March, the two young artists have officially stepped out of whatever shadow those giants may have cast over them and can now command their own spotlight.
