The Gold Rush miners are back with a vengeance for another mining season, with new gear, bigger machines, and more miners. Inspired by his father Jack, Todd Hoffman leads the miners _ now with one season under their belts _ to finish what they started and go for gold at Porcupine Creek.
In Gold Rush 2, Todd and Jack Hoffman have raised the cash and convinced their old crew to roll the dice again, to strike gold and make their fortunes.
They are heading north to Porcupine Creek to settle unfinished business and they have also found a new claim _ an area within which gold (or metal ores and minerals) is found _ even further north in the frozen Klondike where rich gold nuggets are supposedly just below the surface.
