Korean stars in Hua Hin

Fans of Korean TV series will have two reasons to scream their lungs out this weekend. At Hua Hin International Film Festival, which begins tomorrow until Sunday, Jan 29, two Korean superstars will walk down the red carpet and show their dazzling faces to the predictably awaiting horde of admirers.

So Ji-sub and Han Hyo-joo will be in Hua Hin to promote their new film, Always, in which the former plays a down-and-out ex-boxer rescued from depression by the love of a blind woman, played by the latter. The film promises to be a tear-jerker for every sensible viewer, both male and female.

Han Hyo-joo, 25, is mostly famous in Thailand for her role in the hit TV series Dong Yi, a costume drama in which she plays a lowly maid who rises up the ranks in the Chosun court.
