Expect more competition in the mass-market to rattle the established brands
- In March, BMW will unveil the all-new 3-series codenamed F30. The first engine variant to arrive is the 320d equipped with the proven 184hp 2.0-litre diesel-turbo at 3 million baht. Set to arrive later is a brand new, similarly powered petrol-turbo for the 320i.
- The fourth-generation GS from Lexus bows early this year with a basic 2.5-litre V6 engine albeit mean-looking F Sport appearance to race with BMW 523i and Mercedes-Benz E250 CGI in the 4 million baht front. BMW will fight back with the turbocharged 520i _ that same motor also slated to slip under the bonnet of the Z4 sDrive20i roadster.
