Honda and Toyota have extended their concept car streak with eco-friendly supercars _ on foreign soil this time

Japan's top carmakers are stealing the limelight at the ongoing 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit with eco-friendly concept cars.

This is how the new NSX could look in showroom form in three years’ time.

It almost seems to be a sequel to what happened at last month's Tokyo motor show where Honda and Toyota showed a raft of electrified vehicles set to reach commercial production by mid-decade.
