March auto sales down year-on-year

The passenger car market struggled to recover last month, with some automakers unable to resume full production after last year's massive floods, says Toyota Motor Thailand.
Senior vice-president Vudhigorn Suriyachantananont said overall sales of passenger cars in March fell 3.3% year-over-year to 40,305 units.
According to industry figures compiled by Toyota, Honda _ the second-largest carmaker pre-flood _ sold 1,745 cars in March, down 81.8% year-on-year.
