The Triumph Daytona 675 has won the Supertest award, a collaboration between some of the leading world motorcycle magazines, for the fourth consecutive year since Motor Cycle News (MCN) declared it the "MCN Sportsbike of the Year 2009", beating the Yamaha R1, Aprilia RSV4 Factory and KTM RC8R _ and these are above 1,000cc. I wonder why.
Life had a chance to ride the new 2012 Triumph Daytona 675 at the Bonanza International Speedway, Khao Yai, in Nakhon Ratchasima province recently, in the company of a team from Triumph when the weather was just perfect. Not only for test riding, but I could get some ideas about the bike from owners.
I am only 159cm tall and riding the bike my feet just couldn't touch the ground on both sides. The 83cm seat height is among the highest ones. I couldn't even kick the stand up, but you always had friends as your remote control.
